Roman Adventures Limited T/A Little Astronauts
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and visits to Planet Gloop, located within Little Astronauts, Prospect Shopping Centre, Hull.
By booking or attending, you agree to the following terms.
1. Definitions
- “We / Us / Our” = Roman Adventures Limited T/A Little Astronauts
- “You / Your” = The person making the booking and/or attending
- “Experience” = The Gloop Experience, Play & Gloop, or Gloop Party
- “Premises” = Little Astronauts, Prospect Shopping Centre, Hull
2. Bookings & Payments
- All bookings must be made in advance via our website, phone, or in person.
- A booking is only confirmed once full payment is received.
- Prices are subject to change but will not affect confirmed bookings.
3. Ticket Policy (Refunds, Transfers & Cancellations)
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Failure to attend (including illness, lateness, or personal circumstances) will result in loss of the booking.
- We may, at our discretion, offer a one-time reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
- Entry may be refused if you arrive more than 15 minutes after the session start time.
- No refunds or reschedules will be provided for late arrivals.
If we need to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered:
- A full refund, or
- The option to reschedule
4. Party Bookings (Gloop Parties)
- A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
- Final balances must be paid in full at least 7 days before the event.
- Party bookings are non-refundable.
- One reschedule is permitted with at least 14 days’ notice, subject to availability.
- Additional children must be paid for.
- All additional tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- The booking adult:
- Is responsible for all guests’ behaviour
- Must ensure all rules are followed
- Will be liable for any damage caused by their group
5. Supervision & Safeguarding
- All children must be supervised by a responsible adult (16+) at all times.
- Children must not be left unattended under any circumstances.
- We do not accept responsibility for supervision.
6. Health & Safety
- Socks must be worn in play areas.
- No food or drink in play zones.
- No rough play, climbing outside designated areas, or unsafe behaviour.
- All accidents must be reported immediately.
- Ingredients are non-toxic and child-safe when used as instructed.
- Ingredients may include glue, activators, colourants, and fragrances.
- Slime should not be ingested.
- You must inform staff of any allergies or medical conditions before participation.
- We recommend a patch test for sensitive skin.
7. Risk Acknowledgement
By participating, you acknowledge:
- Slime activities can be messy and involve physical interaction
- Play areas involve inherent risks (e.g. slips, trips, falls)
- Participation is at your own risk
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law
8. Clothing & Personal Property
- Slime may stain or damage clothing, footwear, or belongings.
- We strongly recommend wearing old clothes.
- We accept no liability for damage or loss to personal property unless caused by our negligence.
9. Behaviour & Right to Refuse Entry
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse entry
- Remove individuals or groups
If behaviour is:
No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
10. Play & Gloop Sessions
- Play & Gloop includes:
- Up to 90 minutes of soft play
- A 60-minute slime session
- Timings must be adhered to and may run consecutively.
11. Photography & Media
- We may take photos/videos for marketing purposes.
- If you do not wish to appear, please inform staff on arrival.
- You may take personal photos, but must not photograph other children without consent.
12. Food & Drink
- Only food purchased on-site may be consumed unless otherwise agreed.
- Birthday cakes are only permitted with party bookings.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including:
- Illness outbreaks
- Government restrictions
- Power outages
- Extreme weather
14. Data Protection
We handle your data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- Our liability is limited to the value of your booking
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to its courts.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
